Sony Xperia Ion HSPA, also sometimes known as the LT28h Xperia Ion, is
the newly released HSPA data speed version of the Xperia Ion. It models a
beautiful bar-form design with a large 4.6-inch LED-backlit capacitive
touchscreen LCD. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and
offers an outstanding 323ppi pixel density. It uses Timescape user
interface with Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine and supports four-point
multitouch.
The smartphone is powered by Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread) and runs on a 1.5GHz Dual-core processor by Qualcomm. It comes with 1GB RAM and 13.2GB of internal memory which can be extended up to 32GB through microSD memory card. The device boasts DLNA and HDMI support so users can stream content to their HDTV and enjoy it on a bigger screen for a home theatre-like experience. It is also PlayStation certified.
