The Samsung Galaxy Beam is Samsung's latest projector-equipped phone. Succeeding the Beam I8520, the Galaxy Beam is now positioned in the company's critically-acclaimed Galaxy line. In addition to its signature feature which is projector, it comes with a 4-inch WVGA TFT display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, and a 5MP AF camera.
The device will chuck out a crisp HD image up to 50in wide - and is even bright enough to work outside. The 15 lumen DLP (Digital Light Projector) is accompanied by a special app to make it easier for users to select compatible files from the 8GB of internal memory on the handset.
Even with the projector built in, the phone is a respectable 12.5mm thick and 145.3 grams. The smartphone comes with a long-lasting 2000 mAH battery that allows a continuous play time of 3 hours.
